There Lumatek HPS 600W 240V is a pulse start lamp designed to be used with the electronic ballast Lumatek 600W 240V and is produced using high quality ceramic arc tube technology and a specific blend of horticultural gases which creates an optimal spectral output for healthy plant growth. The ceramic arc tube PCA allows the lamp to operate at higher internal temperatures increasing color rendering and efficiency. The PCA resists interaction with chemicals within the tube which stabilizes the mixture over the life of the lamp, thus improving color consistency and level retention PAR/PPF. Pulse start technology allows for faster start up and restart times, longer lamp life and increased lumen maintenance.
